IGNIS Community is back in the DPRK!
After five long years of waiting, we are thrilled to reunite with our North Korean, DPRK(The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) counterparts. However, during this time, the country has undergone many changes, including personnel shifts. As a result, IGNIS team will need to invest time, effort, and trust in rebuilding and strengthening relationships on the ground.
The initial re-engagement has taken place within the Free Economic Zone, and we are excited to share that Pyongyang will soon be issuing invitations for further access. We ask for your prayers as we work toward resuming medical treatment for children with disabilities.
We are grateful for the unwavering support of our donors and community. If you feel led to contribute, please consider joining our Give20 campaign—for just $20 a month, you can help provide lunchboxes, shoes, or medical care for a child in need.
Thank you for standing with us, whether through financial support or prayer. A special thanks to those who remained by our side through the challenges of the past few years. Now that IGNIS are back, we are eager to make up for lost time. There is much work ahead, and we are ready!
Stay tuned for more updates—we look forward to sharing this journey with you.
